In reply to: [nrelate Related Content] Related posts not showing from correct categories@mm-blog — Thanks for using nRelate on your site! We actually don’t use categories or tags to match related posts. Our plugin actually uses an algorithm that takes your post title and description, plus context, in order to determine which posts are related.
We have had users express the need for tags/category matching so we are working on including this feature in a future build of the plugin.

In reply to: [nrelate Related Content] Remove NRelated from my portfolio items@rhodez — Thanks for using nRelate on your site. Under your “Layout Settings” on the plugin’s main settings page, can you make sure that only Posts (is_single) is checked off? If only single posts are checked off under Layout Settings, but you’re still seeing the plugin show on portfolio pages, then you can remove the plugin from specific posts/pages manually: https://nrelate.com/theblog/2011/10/19/remove-nrelate-from-a-particular-post-or-page/

In reply to: [nrelate Related Content] How to remove Nrelate from WooCommerce?@mm-blog — Unfortunately we can’t show on the woocommerce page given that we don’t support secured pages right now. To remove the plugin from this page, please UNcheck “pages” from under your “Layout Settings” on the plugin’s main settings page. This will remove nrelate from all pages. You can also remove it manually for a specific post or page: https://nrelate.com/theblog/2011/10/19/remove-nrelate-from-a-particular-post-or-page/
Let us know if this helps!

In reply to: [nrelate Related Content] Remove specific pages/post and widget not working@siebje — You can exclude specific posts from showing as related content suggestions by going to the nRelate Dashboard page > Exclude Categories. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pwbzbo8f9qpvpgb/Screen%20Shot%202012-10-04%20at%203.34.25%20PM.png
Unfortunately there’s no way to exclude specific pages from showing up as related recommendations without excluding all pages as a whole. This is a good feature to have though, and one we are thinking about including in an upcoming build of our plugin.

In reply to: [nrelate Related Content] How to I force remove nRelate stylesheet?@fuzzybee — Thanks for using nRelate on your site. To force remove the nRelate stylesheet, you will actually have to go into the plugin files and remove it. However, this isn’t really something we recommend and we suggest that you try this on a test site first as we have to caution that doing this might break your site.
That said – if you are comfortable doing this, you’ll want to go into the plugin files (nrelate-related-content\admin\common-frontend.php) and not register and enqueue the styles (lines 36-37).
An alternative option to customizing the styling of the plugin’s itself is to take a look at our styling guides —
