I didn’t know this other plugin. But from a look at the code, it looks quite complex. I can’t really tell, why it causes issues with my plugin.

This does not only allow you to use english as an alternative backend language, but every lanuguage installed. Maybe with my two plugins in combination, you get you issue solved.

The plugin does not only offer the drop down on login, it also saves the setting per user. So every time they come back, the last language they used fill be prefilled in the drop down.

As the message says, it “may be vulnerable”. But it is not. I guess that the SiteLock scan found the word “load” in the URI and though it might be used in a SQL query. But that is not the case for this script. It only loads CSS files. So it should be safe to ignore the warning.

Do you see any other language you can install? If not, this could be due to a file permission issue. That your are not able to install any new language.

You can always upload the po/mo files manually using FTP to your site. They usually go into the wp-content/languages folder.

Could you tell me exactly which redirection plugin you are referring to, so I can test it myself?

I already thought about moving it the the top adminbar. I just have to make sure it will than not conflict with the frontend, as the adminbar will also be visible there.

Could you give me an example of items in the left adminbar that appear below the flags so I can try to fix that in the meantime? All plugins I used so far which already added something always appeard above the flags.

I also really would like to see this in core. And there is a team of core developers behind this very issue. I had a talk with them on the WordCamp Cologne Contributor Day this year. A core solution is a lot more complicated than this simple solution and I hope they will find a good was to solve it.

I am glad to hear it’s not a general issue. I don’t own a Genesis Theme to test it. Maybe I can ask someone from my local community for a test drive in it.

But I will definitely write some more documentation and explain the requirements for the plugin to work.

the plugin only works with a more tag. But it can only work, if the theme is using a correct query of the posts. Could you send me the category.php file from the (child-)theme, so I can have a look on it?

How is the POST suppose to work if you use pagination links that lack the additional query parameter? I have the same issue. Using POST does not work. And what are the issues with the GET method?

Yes I realized that the P2 in the theme repo hasn’t been updated for quite a long time. Will it ever be updated there?

Thanks for the notification. But what do you mean with your statement that P” cannot be uploaded into the themes directory? That is where I have it installed ??
