In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] Default image size or individual image sizeHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.There is no default image size in the plugin’s general settings, the only default settings present are color and background color.
Regarding the size of the image, as well as all other options in the settings of the “Kaya QR Code Generator” panel available in the post editor, are not used as custom fields for the post and in no way affect the content of the page.
The Shortcode generator assistant is used to help build the shortcode structure. The generated shortcode must be pasted on a “shortcode block” or directly in the page content.
The automatic size of the QR Code image is generated mainly based on the content and the level of repetition of the information. The pixel size field is used to give a desired size, which is taken into account and adapted according to the two parameters mentioned above.
To use this parameter in a shortcode you must therefore integrate it in this way, for a size approaching 300px for example:
[kaya_qrcode size="300"]
Let me know if that helps you.
Thank you, best regards.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] set default size and image name in backendHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Concerning the automatic name of the downloaded image, sorry but there are no plans to adapt it to the title of the publication, being for the moment reserved for the backend. But you can rename them manually.
For the size of the preview, currently it should normally be automatically modified when a dimension is given in the QR Code settings, does this not work for you? And there is a button on the backend dedicated to downloading it, a possibility of adding this on the front is envisaged for a future update.
Best regards.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] Save optionsHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Sorry the QR Code plugin settings are only for the generator assistant display on editors, and are not related to the QR Code shortcode options.
The error message is because these plugin settings didn’t changed.
The shortcode generator assistant on the settings page, is just used to assist on the shortcode structure construction and don’t have options saving.
Best regards.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] No style attributeHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Indeed there is currently an automatic CSS embed in the image tag that cannot be removed.
I will add an option to the shortcode to remove it in case of custom CSS in the next update.
Best regards.
Hello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Sorry but no, the dynamic QR Code can’t be generated on PDF or emails.
The QR Code shortcode must be present in a WordPress page, because it uses JavaScript functions to generate the QR Code image.
If it was a static content, you could download the generated image on Shortcode generator assistant for example and use it as you want in mail and PDF. But as a dynamic content, with users informations I presume, this can’t be automated this way.
Best regards.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] QR code with ACF field encodedHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.In order to be redirected to the specific course when scanned, you must directly encode the URL.
To be dynamically encoded with ACF shortcodes, you must use
[kaya_qrcode_dynamic]
shortcode, for example:[kaya_qrcode_dynamic][acf field=course_base_url]?title=[acf field=course_title]&date=[acf field=course_date][/kaya_qrcode_dynamic]
The information that you include in your course address does not matter for the encoding of the QR Code, but must be a compliant URL, and correctly managed by your site.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] QR code sometimes doesnt workHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.I just checked the page provided as an example, it seems that there are a lot of JavaScript errors when executing it (for example webpack:///node_modules/jsonp/index.js).
The package necessary for displaying QR codes is present, and manual execution in the console displays the QR code correctly. Errors present on your site therefore prevent execution.
As this interrupts the normal execution of the scripts, you should test by deactivating the plugins and/or theme where the error comes from in order to be able to identify and correct it.
I hope this will help you.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] QR code in the woocommerce Thank you pageHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Actually ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’ don’t provide any data from WordPress or WooCommerce, to get the order variables as encoded content, you must use another shortcode from an other plugin or the dedicated PHP functions/variables in addition and put it in the dynamic shortcode content.
I hope this will answer your question.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] Changing URL in existing QR CodeHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.To modify an encoded URL, simply change it in the dedicated field for a widget, or in the “content” parameter of the shortcode present on the page where the QR code is displayed.
Once the setting is changed, the QR code image will be automatically updated.
Let me know if that answers your question.
Thank you, best regards.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] Saving a generated QR Code as image / PDF fileHello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Indeed the generated image cannot currently be used in the PDF generation via the WP page, and the only way to be able to recover it is to save it manually via right click.
I take note of the possibility of adding a download button on the public part, and I will see what is possible for a next update.
Best regards.

In reply to: [Kaya QR Code Generator] QR Codes for Contact Details, Mailto etcHello,
Thank you for your new comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.Indeed, my plugin does not directly support the form of QR Code content, but you can of course generate all kinds of content such as contacts, via static and/or dynamic shortcodes. You therefore have the possibility of using the shortocdes of other plugins as content via dynamic QR Codes.
Best regards.
