Thanks Tobias. As it turns out, the search doesn’t work with a plug-in called ‘Highlight Search Terms’. However I did learn a remarkable amount about trying to switch themes!

No IPs have been added to my settings page since I originally reported this problem. The only thing it continues to do is to send messages to admin that IP addresses are being blocked (even though they aren’t). It would be very helpful if this plug-in could work again.

Thanks Jack. As best I understand, bbpress now groups notifications and sends them together from/to a no reply address with bcc to all the subscribers. It’s done this way for topics and replies. So I guess that wouldn’t be standard WordPress! Let me know your outlook for full bbpress support as I’ve found your plug-in quite helpful to date.

Sorry, it took care of the meteor slide widget area but it pushed the widgets at the bottom of the Home Page behind the page footer.
