    My theme doesn’t have that option.
    It has an option for a Static homepage, but the sidebars don’t work like I want. Perhaps I should post the question in the support forum for my theme, I just thought there might be a setting in WordPress itself.

    I’ll look into the Page option also

    That is a page, not a post. I want a static post.

    Perhaps using the static page is the best way to go, and if so, that is fine. I already found that option. But my question about about making a POST, not a PAGE, static.

    Thanks to everyone for their replies. I was mainly interested in the WAP plugin so that I could admin the site, moderate comments, and what-not. However, from the comments I see here, I don’t think that is possible. I will probably still install this plugin, but my needs were for the admin panel.
