Exactly, it makes absolutely no sense for people to leave a forum MADE for support to then go to github, open another account there etc and say the issues, no logic in that whatsoever.

The plugin is simply dead and will probably be removed by admins soon.

I guess this is the end for this plugin. No updates from the author, he must be busy.

Same here, Online Users widget disappeared I think it’s a bug after the new update. I hope they fix it asap!!

Use chatgpt to assist you, it can make a plugin for this or you can use plugins like Search & Replace. It’s very simple.

Use WP to Buffer(sign up for the free account at buffer.com) first using an email and then install the app. It’s working perfectly so far for me.

I still can’t believe Jetpack would get so greedy and just pull this stunt over us, it’s not right.

Exact same issue I am facing now. Jetpack should at least say exactly when the shares would reset each month instead of us guessing.
I have already found an alternative plugin and I am slowly migrating all my sites to it because this move by Jetpack is the perfect example of capitalism/corporate greed, smh. Very disappointed.

@jennie-richards – Well I had two ways to fix, either I do it myself via CSS but I took the easy way out and downloaded a plugin called ‘Thumbnails’.

Install it and go to settings and then tick the box that says: “Enable on the fly thumbnail generation”

That’s it, once you do that, go to your homepage and your thumbnails should all look normal again.

I still don’t know what happened, something must have changed when the theme was updated via CSS.

@jamesosborne Hey, it seems Google did fix the “error” by itself. I have created a new post in the same category to see if it’s a constant issue/bug, once the new post is indexed in the next day or so, I will let you know if this happens again.

Yes please do that, keep this thread alive and I will update if it is fixed, I will do some more testing this side by creating new posts in that particular category and see if something strange is happening.

Yes but in my case it won’t really help because I have over 150 posts that the new snippet has been inserted in, which is fine and the only way is to make it display on certain categories(I don’t use tags or anything on these pages anymore, the only similar condition is that all these posts are in the same categories.)

With that said, if I want to create a new post in these categories that doesn’t need a woody snippet, it would be easier to just a simple box to tick “disable woody snippet on this post/page”. I thought this was possible. No?
