  • Same here, it’s completely broken in 3.6, SMH.

I have the folders in images/themes as you stated above and still the errors are there.

I am having the exact same issue direct from a fresh install.

The problem is the plugin it now seems.

Well I fixed it by copying my old custom NGGallery CSS from v1.9.10 and replaced the new one and vwala, fixed.

Same here, waiting for ANY update. SIGH.

    KD35

    (@kd35)

    – WordPress up to date? — YES
    – NextGEN up to date? (Did this error begin as of v1.9.10, v1.9.11 or v1.9.12?) — IN 1.9.12(THE LATEST)
    – Which version of NextGEN were you running before you upgraded? 1.9.10

(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
    – MySQL up to date (5.2.4)? YES
    – PHP up to date (5.0)? YES
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? YES
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? YES, IT’S OFF

and if you’re willing to share:
    – Who are you hosted with? Dedicated Server @ eCatel
    – What theme are you running? Magazine from Themeforest.net
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? NEXTGEN, ALL IN ONE SEO, Contact form 7, Breadcrumb NXT, Custom Permalinks
    – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to the WP default, and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (*be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) — YES, even when using the standard ELEVEN 13 theme, same thing happens.

Damnit I am also having the same issue, I wish I didn’t update. My site was suppose to go live but now I have to spend my time trying to fix this myself as the new owners haven’t released ANY FIX despite multiple people having this bug.

    So annoying.

I also emailed days ago but no reply, f it, am also deactivating the plugin. Time to find a replacement.

I am also experiencing this. Is it possible to fix this myself without emailing support, the web site for the client is https://www.youngteenidols.com/

[ Please do not bump, that’s not permitted here. ]

Yes it does re-write urls for next gen. For example the web site I am working on right now, the urls are like this…

    mysite.com/pictures/asian-model-pictures/grace-park-pictures/

And an image is like this: mysite.com/pictures/asian-model-pictures/grace-park-pictures/hq/image/grace-park-photo-020

Try it again and let me know whats going on.

To manually re-write the slugs to anything you want, there is an extra plugin for that I use sometimes(to remove things like /category/)

There is a plugin called Custom Permalinks that works quite well(sometimes you might have to delete the permalink and recreate it again but it always ends up working)

Also make sure your settings for ‘permalink’ in the admin — make sure you are NOT using the default which then displays the ugly ?/p=123 type links.

Moxie, if you figured this out, please let me know.

    Hi,

Install All in One SEO and it will solve your ugly-permalinks issue, I believe that is all your missing.

Let me know if this works.

I am now looking for this, has anyone found a solution?

This is generally not up to you, Google bot is the one that chooses which images to add to their engine.

With that said though, you should try to submit a SiteMap/ImageMap and that should improve things.

But remember, just because you have 500 images, doesn’t mean google will index all 500.
