In reply to: [Fullwidth Templates for Any Theme & Page Builder] Genesis Wellness ProAnybody? Nobody?????
It’s fine. It’s a PITA because I have to manually create the thumbnails and link everything up, but I just used FooBox to do exactly what I wanted (created the first thumbnail really large and the remaining thumbnails really small). It works fine and looks really good. I just wish I didn’t have to manually set it up every time because like I said, I have to put one of these on every page of my shop.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] No colors on any calendarthanks I get your point. but one of the things that is scored is how many CSS and JS files are called, not just if the individual ones are minified. So this will cause the score to go down even if it’s minified because it’s a 2nd CSS file. I personally don’t care. But some clients can be be a little obsessive about this stuff.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] No colors on any calendarTurning off the minify plugin turned the color coding back on. But obviously in this day and age, “minifying” is almost a requirement to try and speed up a website. How do we use minify and use your extension.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] vertical rectangles instead of icons since updateI’ve removed the function. So am I to assume that we can no longer customize this plugin? I had reordered the icon’s order and added a “Yelp” share button. I also changed the color of each individual button but that may be still possible via CSS. Not sure. But the other changes/customization…are they no longer possible?

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Huge icons since WP updateSince support hasn’t come to address the issues with missing or in your case big icons, can you tell us what you did to resolve your problem? My icons are missing. Cleared the cache. No joy.

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Needs a little more functionalityI “misspoke” above. I didn’t find a solution to my problem; the link above is for a different addon. The above function did indeed add back the ability to set a price in the backend of the event. However, even though I set a price, when displayed on the frontend, the cost still appears as FREE. Is there ANY WAY to fix this? As I stated above, some businesses cannot sell tickets online so just need a way to collect names/email addresses and the number of seats to hold.
If for whatever reason this is impossible to do, is there a way to add my own form at the bottom of each event page? This may actually be a deal-breaker for me.
Thanks…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Pricing DisappearsThis actually isn’t working. The ability to set a price appears in the backend when you create/edit an event. But even though I’ve put a price in the “EVent Cost” area, it still comes up as “Free” when the event is displayed on the front end. Please help!

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Request for feature“None” or better still, a custom class would be useful for responsive designs. What looks great “Right aligned” for example on a full-width page, looks silly when viewing on a mobile device. All the footer stack up on top of one another so the better alignment for that view would be CENTER aligned, not right. But I can’t change it because I had to choose “right” or whatever when configuring the plugin for my footer. If we could set a custom style class, we could then change the alignment according to the media query. Hope that helps.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Pricing DisappearsFrustratingly took forever to find the solution, but thank you for having one. For those of us who can’t or don’t want to sell the tickets online but need a way to capture names/email address so invoices can be sent, Event Tickets Plus would be overkill. Out of the box, the free version removes the ability to add a price. This was the solution.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Responsive Grid ViewSince your support forums are closed (you direct everyone here), and unfortunately that means “pre-sale questions” as well, you give me no choice but to ask an important question here. Is your grid/calendar view responsive? From what I see, when viewed on smaller devices or in widget areas, the text inside each box just scrunches up to try and fit inside the smaller cell/box. A few other calendar plugin developers solve this problem by having a breaking point where the text simply turns into dots. A dot indicates there is an event on that day. When you hover over a dot, a “tooltip” appears with the information. This makes for an elegant and seamless transition from full-width desktop view to mobile view. Does your calendar do this or something similar? I need to know before I download and use it because I also need to purchase the premium version. I don’t see where you calendar has this feature but I wanted to give you a chance to prove me wrong before I give up and move on to another plugin. Please respond one way or the other.
