Thanks, kmessinger, I agree the help choices have not worked out well!
I tried switching to the default, and the issues didn’t go away. So somehow, these problems have become more pervasive, and I almost wonder if I wouldn’t need to start completely from scratch?
I know that I could search around for help with each individual issue, but I’m thinking this is a bigger issue than just each problem, and I’m not sure I’m competent to solve them all anyways (or maybe just lack the time and energy to do it all).
I know that WP is a great system- I’ve seen many use it well and I personally love so many aspects of it I would be sad to leave it behind! I was hoping it would go much smoother than this, once I got past the initial set up stage.
iridiax, the stat codes keep disappearing. I add them back in and save them, and then they’re gone again. They just won’t stick, for whatever reason.
And my theme is widget ready. It allows me to use some widgets, but it’s as though something gets messed up or overloaded if I try to use too many.
