You can make it vanish with CSS.

But a checkbox would be better. Same deal for not having the image clickable selectable by checkbox.

Could you please explain further how to do this.

My observations, the featured image is also used to link to facebook and is the wrong size for a banner. So if that’s the primary purpose, then this feature is not necessarily a good idea.

I just found this post in response to the same issue faced today. Can the developers advise when they will resolve the conflict between their products?

It seemed to be some sort of conflict with a plugin which I use without issues on other sites. I hacked the theme code so the site logo has no url.

Thanks for the response. They are correct. If you roll over the home menu link and the logo, the url is the same. The home menu link works but the logo does not despite the url being the same for each.
