Yes, I’m using Version 1.7.18 with exactly the same settings for the simple and complex shortcodes.

If I use the simple version, the tweets pulled are from last month but report as fairly recent in the display.

If I use the complex version, the tweets are accurate.

I wondered if it was because I was using the shortcode within another shortcode used by my page builder but I’ve tried it on its own and I get the same results.

I even tried both the simple and complex together so the results should be identical but they exhibit the same behaviour with the simple shortcode pulling older tweets and the complex shortcode pulling correct tweets.

As I mentioned in the last post edit. It works with the long shortcode call, but not the default short call.

No caching, no errors with debug on.

I hate to be the one to “unresolve” this topic but I’m getting the same issue. No caching plugins, freshly generated twitter credentials and it’s pulling in older tweets but not any new ones created after sometime during 17th to 24th October. Using version 1.7.18.

Simple call of [rotatingtweets screen_name=’xxxxxx’]

Edit: I just used the call in a previous post and it’s working now:

[rotatingtweets screen_name=’xxxxxx’ tweet_count=’5′ show_meta_screen_name=’0′ show_meta_via=’0′ no_rotate=’0′]

Version 6.0.20 has some unusual effects with my theme, changing hover colours and some link colours and it also stops the Rotating Tweet widget from working.

I’ve disabled your plugin som you won’t be able to see the effects on my site

The thickbox effect has stopped working on my galleries since I upgraded to the latest version. Any ideas of what might have caused that Alex?

What a pity, I prefer the 2.6.5 admin panel. I hate all the scrolling you have to do with 2.7 ??

I have a particular site that I upgraded to 2.7 and whilst the site works as before, when I try and login I get this:

Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.

All the files are there in the wp-admin folder, I updated the site using the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin and was able to login ok yesterday. I have not changed anything on the site or the server. I can request a new password ok, but it just gives this Redirect Loop Error.

Anyone got an idea of what I can do to log in?

My 2.6.2 was hacked today too. I discovered the akismet plugin folder had been deleted and an akismet.php file placed in the plugin folder. There must still be an, as yet, undisclosed vulnerability with 2.6.2. The hacker gained access through requesting a new password for the admin user.

The complete WP installation was then deleted by this a55hole.

Excellent plugin, I’ve been looking for just such a sitemap display for a while now and yours is perfect.
