  • Hey Vas, you can add an HTML block and add the code below, then replace yellow with a color your prefer. If you want texts next to the triangle, you’ll have to add the texts in the HTML block too, and replace ‘Text here’:

    <p><span style=”color: yellow”>►</span> Text here</p>

You might also consider using emojis, or other geometric shapes that can be copied and pasted, rather than inserting HTML code.

Awesome! You’re most welcome! ?? Have a great rest of your day.

Hi @pakipress, thanks for sharing those details and screenshots.

If I’m understanding correctly, in the Site Editor, you added the “Our Online Store” pattern. This pattern includes a Query Loop block, but the image within it cannot be edited, leaving it as a gray box instead of displaying an image.

The image from the Query Loop block comes from the post’s featured image. To make the image appear, add a featured image in the post. Here’s how to do that:

    • In the site dashboard, go to Posts > select the post “Ciao mondo!” to open it.
    • In the “Ciao mondo!” editor on the upper right, click the “Settings” icon.
    • A sidebar will pop. Under Post, select “Set featured image”.
    • Upload an image or select and image from your Media Library. Then click “Set featured image”.
    • Then in the post editor, click “Save” or “Publish”.
    • Refresh your site front page where you added the “Our online store” pattern with the Query Loop block, and the image should display above the “Ciao mondo!” post.

Let me know how it goes! ??

Hey there @cathyfamilyhome, thanks for sharing! Are you still experiencing the same issue that you mentioned? If so, I’d recommend creating a new topic for your own issue here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/twentytwentyfour/

It helps keep things more organized and allows others with the same problem to easily find relevant discussions.

Could you share which version of WordPress and Gutenberg you’re using? Have you tried using Gutenberg again after updating? If the issue persists, please share more details about what you’re doing and any issues or error messages you’re encountering.

This will help us better understand the issue and assist you further. Thank you!

Hey there @malle9, thanks for reaching out!

To better understand your issue and help you further, please share more details along with a screen recording. Specifically, show how you initially set up the image lightbox feature, then make changes to the page, and finally, how it became deactivated. I will try to replicate this on my test site to investigate further.

It’s great to hear that everything is working fine again! Based on your initial message, your site is hosted at WordPress.com. If you happen to encounter any issues in the future about your site or Gutenberg, you can reach out to their support team for assistance: https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/

    Hey Martin,

I’ve tried to replicate the issue, but in my testing, the Page List block displays all 119 pages in both the backend and the frontend without any issues.

To troubleshoot, please check if there are any updates needed for WordPress, your theme, or any plugins. If updates are available, backup your site first to ensure no data is lost, and then proceed with the updates. You can also try accessing the backend using a different browser or in incognito/private mode. Once updated or changed your browser, check again to see if the issue persists.

    Hello @guckmada!

The Twenty Twenty theme does not support full site editing (FSE). When using themes that support FSE like Twenty Twenty-four, the URL will have site-editor.php in it. The &canvas=edit at the end of the URL though, is not from the theme or plugin canvas, but it’s when you’re using a theme that supports FSE and you’re on the site editor. However, this may be added in the URL if you’re using a plugin that might be introducing FSE-like functionality or modifying the editing workflow. Plugins that enhance the block editor or introduce site-wide customization options could cause this behavior.
To test, temporarily deactivate all your plugins and check your post URL. When you activate one plugin at a time, check the post URL to see if anything adds the &canvas=edit in the end.

Do the two URLs display different post content? If they don’t, you can leave it as it is and not worry about the URL.
If they display different post content, please share more details: when you click on a post to edit, was the initial URL /wp-admin/site-editor.php?postType=wp_block&postId=97343? Did you take any specific action that caused &canvas=edit to appear at the end of the URL?

Hey there @vastzor ! You can use custom CSS to change the color of the triangle icons. If you’re comfortable with CSS, you can follow the steps outlined in this guide: Applying Custom CSS.

Hey @martinsauter! Thank you for sharing the screen recording!

I tested this on my site, which has 119 pages, and everything worked as expected. All the parent and subpages appeared in the Page List block, and I was able to set a parent page without any issues. I tested this using the Twenty Twenty-Four theme and Twenty Twenty-Three theme, and it worked perfectly in both cases.

It looks like the problem might be coming from your current theme or a plugin conflict. To troubleshoot and pinpoint the cause:

    1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. After installing and activating, go to WP Admin > Tools > Site Health > Troubleshooting (tab) to enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will let you test your site without affecting what visitors see on the live site.
    3. In Troubleshooting Mode, you can activate and deactivate plugins or switch themes one at a time. Activate a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four or another theme different from the current one.
    4. Then in a new browser tab or window, open the page with the page list. Refresh the page to see if the another theme enabled shows the full list of pages. If yes, contact the theme support to assist you further.

If it’s not theme-related, follow the steps above and enable one plugin at a time. As you enabled each plugin, in a new browser tab, open the page with page list and refresh to check which plugin enabled removes the full page list.

This method should help you narrow down the source of the issue. Let me know how it goes!

Yay, awesome! Glad to hear that! ??

You’re welcome! If you have any questions in the future, you can check out the Documentation page or if you don’t see an answer to your questions, open a new topic in the forums.???

Hey there @hmishkoff! Thanks for reaching out!

A blank screen should not be the case when going to Appearance > Editor. Some things you can try:

    • You can try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies or testing with a different browser to rule out any local caching issues first.
    • Another option is deactivating all plugins temporarily to see if that helps. If the problem is resolved, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify which one was causing the issue.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, reach out to your hosting provider for further support.

    Hey there @priya199!

To add shadow to your blocks, make sure the blocks are grouped first. To do that:

    • In the editor, open the list view (3 lines on the upper left ≡ )
    • Select multiple blocks
    • After selecting multiple blocks, right-click then select “Group”.
    • Then on the upper right, click “Settings” > then “Styles” settings.
    • Scroll down to Border & Shadow. You’ll have to click the 3 dots next to it, and select Shadow.
    • Select the shadow style similar to the screenshot shared by @ali622 above.
    • After selecting the shadow style for the grouped blocks, click Save or Publish to set those changes.
