Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Content not Found on every page, even dashboardThanks for the advice. I tried manually resetting my plugins via both php and FTP options you linked to. Neither worked.
I then renamed my directory of my current theme and when I went to the website nothing loaded…just blank white screen. Does that mean it’s a theme issue? If so, what do I do? If not, what else can I try to get into my dashboard?
Okay, I found the problem. The URL link for the Home page under Menu still had the old directory URL. I changed it to kelcymae.com and now everything works correctly.
Okay, using this page I was able to change the site URLs back in the database. Now I am back to my original problem of the “Content Not Found” homepage.
Any assistance is appreciate!
Now I seem to have made the problem worse and can no longer sign in to my WordPress dashboard. I found another WordPress support page that implied the WordPress URL is meant to be the “home” url that you want people to type in to find you and that the Site URL was the place for your files… So I swapped them. I put Kelcymae.com in the WordPress URL setting and kelcymae.com/wp as the Site URL. Now when you go kelcymae.com/wp, it takes you to the home page and the content is there, but the entire Pinboard theme is gone.
I can also not access kelcymae.com/wp/wp-login, so I can’t alter the URL settings back to what they were.
PLEASE HELP!
