Figured it out finally. InMotion requires you to use their updater. Updating through WP itself doesn’t work.

I checked to see about the permissions. InMotion has a one-click install of WordPress and have assured me that all permissions are in order.

Also if you’d like to add borders on menu items as they were before, you can try Admin Classic Borders.

I’m marking this as resolved, because I’m going a different direction. The problem is that end users don’t want to have to learn code, so the only way to really implement this as I see it in my head is to edit the media uploader. I’m looking into it, but it’ll be a larger project than just a shortcode.

I considered that but I do, the CSS and Javascript files don’t get applied.

Same for me, with current version of FF and with IE9. Might be a great plugin but with no working upload button …

The menu system lets you add custom classes to the li containers, not the actual a’s. Since I’m filtering out the li and ul, that doesn’t help. I ended up using a custom walker to change the actual menu function.

You can’t have them all the same final URL if they are different pages. You can give them names, such as Teaser A, Teaser B, and Teaser C, in which case it would become /teaserA/, etc.

Another way to do this is just copy page.php into several template files. Change the name of the menu called on each. Then when you publish each page, select the template.
