Well, I tried it again yesterday and I didn’t get the error but it also didn’t import correctly. I saw the big post about how ICS stuff is broken with WP 4.4 and that a fix is hopefully forthcoming?

It imported my events but none of the had categories, none had the proper date & time, etc.

I’m not sure if I should expect this to work or if it really is broken.

Just posting here since I have the same problem. Just installed a new blog with 4.4 and can’t get the ICS importing to work. I get items but they don’t have the proper categories attached and also don’t have the right date or time either.

Any update? Can I help test the fix since my site is still in development?

I didn’t like the Crawford theme so I changed to the Activello theme for now in case anyone can help.

My settings in there are set to:
12:48 pm

This tells me it should be using the 12 hour stuff but it doesn’t show as that when I go to schedule a post…

My screen looks just like this page where it has the box for hour and a box for minute but nothing about AM or PM.

Would you have any tips on where I might start looking? The theme is not supported any longer and I don’t know how all of that works.

I commented out that line but it didn’t seem to change anything. My issue isn’t with the Title of the page. It’s text that sees to be coming form the header from the looks of it.

I doubt this theme will ever get updated so I’d be happy to try to modify the theme itself if you can tell me what might need to be changed.

Sorry, I missed the first reply. I ended up turning on and off a bunch of plugins and found it seemed to break for a few different scenarios. No idea why.

It seems better now but I don’t know which plugins they ended up keeping.

This theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years so I’m really not too concerned about the original getting changes made to it. ??
