Hey carbonfiberswan,
Apologies for the delay. This plugin just outputs exactly the code snippet you paste in inside the <head> section of your webpages. It doesn’t modify it in any way. So as long as you’ve pasted it in exactly as you see it from facebook, it shouldn’t conflict with any styles on the page.
Another thing to note – Facebook Conversion Pixel only supports the old pre-2016 facebook pixel format. If you want to insert pixels in the new format, I would recommend trying out one of these plugins instead:

https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/Best of luck!
Kellenp3rn1llama,
If you uninstall this plugin from the WP admin, the one database option that it has saved on your site will be removed and any pixel code you had pasted in for any pages/posts/CPTs will no longer be inserted on any of your pages. If you’re switching to the PixelYourSite plugin, you can just uninstall this plugin and set up that one immediately afterward without worrying about duplicate pixel code being inserted on your pages.
Best of luck

In reply to: [Pixel Cat - Conversion Pixel Manager] Put on all pages automatically? No it can’t. This plugin only supports inserting pixel code on a per-post/page basis. To insert pixels across the while site or for a certain CPT endpoint, I’d recommend using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/.

In reply to: [Pixel Cat - Conversion Pixel Manager] WooCommerceHi Steve,
This plugin doesn’t support inserting conversion pixel code when a visitor hits the WooCommerce Thank You/Order Completion page. I’d recommend using this plugin, which does offer WooCommerce integration: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/
Jeremy,
Thanks a lot for your help. I batch resized all the images on the site and they’re now being served up by the wordpress.com CDN without a problem. Much appreciated! ????
Jeremy,
Choosing to use smaller images and less images per page is a good tip for better site performance in general. However, it doesn’t address the issue I posted about. Before the switch to SSL, 100% of the images on this site (including all those with large file sizes) were being served up my the wordpress.com CDN, whereas after the switch to SSL, many of the images hit a 404 and never load at all. That’s the problem I need a resolution to, and the Jetpack documentation doesn’t seem to address it. It just says the images are cached indefinitely with no mechanism provided to bust the cache and have the images uploaded again. I can’t be the only one who’s ever started using Photon/Tiled Galleries on a site, then switched it to SSL.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure what you mean by “Turn the CDN off (temporarily)” and “Turn cache back on”. My understanding is that if Photon is on, the i0.wp.com CDN is being used, and if it is off, the CDN is no longer being used.
How can I “Turn the CDN off (temporarily)” without also deactivating Photon? Likewise, if I’ve already deactivated/disconnected Photon & Jetpack, then turned both back on, what does your last “Turn cache back on” bullet point refer to? Can you please clarify?
Thanks so much for the help.
Hi Tony,
If you’re setting up a new pixel, I would recommend switching to this plugin since it supports Facebook’s new pixel format: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/.
Then after you’ve inserted the pixel code into your site, you can use the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension to make sure the pixel is being loaded onto the page properly: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/facebook-pixel-helper/fdgfkebogiimcoedlicjlajpkdmockpc?hl=en
Hope that helps out.

In reply to: [Pixel Cat - Conversion Pixel Manager] tracking conversion eventsHi Marco,
Facebook Conversion Pixel is built to output one block of code (base code and any page-specific code) per page. If you’re interested in a plugin that inserts the base code site-wide allows you to insert standard event code on specific pages, I would recommend using this one: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/
Hope that helps out. Take care,
Kellen
Hi Marco,
The Facebook Conversion Pixel plugin works well for inserting pixel code on particular pages. If you need to be able to insert site-wide pixels, in addition to page-specific ones, I would recommend using this plugin instead: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/. It should do the trick for you.
Take care!

In reply to: [Pixel Cat - Conversion Pixel Manager] Shop_orderdanibaba,
Whoops! Sorry I forgot to paste it. Here it is: https://www.jonloomer.com/2015/07/16/facebook-upgraded-pixel/
Also, this plugin still works great for inserting pixels into individual pages. If you’re interested in setting both site-wide and page-specific pixels, I would recommend switching to this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/
pglock,
Sorry for the long delay on this. Facebook’s pixel format has changed, and I would now recommend using this plugin if you’re seeing that error: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pixelyoursite/
Here’s a post that outlines the new format: https://www.jonloomer.com/2015/07/16/facebook-upgraded-pixel/

In reply to: [Pixel Cat - Conversion Pixel Manager] Shop_orderdanibaba,
I would recommend inserting the pixel on your order confirmation page, in that case. Here’s a post that details how to insert standard events in Facebook’s new format. Just make sure you’re pasting in the entire code block.
Thanks and sorry for the long delay.
p.s. apologies for the long delay! Best of luck.
