I’d suppose #2 “Hide the color wheel until click and slide/fade it in.” might be better in the long haul if folks have lots of categories so it’ll keep the settings section vertically tight. Assume the wheel would pop over/next to the input field?

Nope – functions as it should ?? I guess it was just confusing to click first into the color wheel and have it remain dim.

It’s still not working for me. It seems like there’s some issue between the redirect_string_array and the redirect_field. I’ve tried various quote strategies removing quotes etc, but it’s still not redirecting to the correct locations.

I think I have a very plain setup (I made it specifically for your plugin)
I think the issue is perhaps more in how I’ve set up the plugin.

I’m having an issue on redirection and I wondered if it had something to do with the site not being at the root level of the domain?

Here’s the shortcode I have:

[login redirect_page='https://domain.com/subsite/' redirect_field='UserType' redirect_array_string='Tutor => https://domain.com/subsite/welcome/tutors, Instructor => https://domain.com/subsite/welcome/instructors, Student => https://domain.com/subsite/welcome/students']

When the form is submitted, the redirected url is always:
https://domain.com/subsite/login/8217;Tutor

FYI – UserType is a Short Text field.

Sorry I missed this post.

Because of the way that FriendlyCase “sees” words, the open karen ( or brackets [ etc will confuse the issue of what is a word.

A suggestion would be to simply add a space after the opening parenthesis mark and one before the closing – like ( this ).

You may also have some luck adding to the “Words to always…” library in FriendlyCase’s settings.

Will keep this issue in mind for future releases, though. Thanks for the feedback.

@shazahm1 I’d mentioned earlier in this thread that I’d disabled ALL of the plugins on the site that’s not working. I’ve now gone so far to not just disable, but also DELETE the plugins and now I’m only running Connections 8.1

I was only mentioning the PHP versions I have as I’ve seen some plugins that require a minimum version of PHP.

Just an FYI – not sure it’s related to the Connections issues here, but here are some particulars between my Connections sites:

Connections 8.1 (with cMap) on WP 4.0 running PHP Version 5.3.4 – Works for me
Connections 8.1 on WP 4.0 running PHP Version 5.4.29 – Does Not work

Interestingly, I have a version of Connections (8.1, I still don understand the odd version numbering here) using the Paid cMap template, running fine with WP 4.0, however it’s on a different server setup. Will do some research on Apache etc and see if I can determine any differences.

I’m seeing the same result – I disabled all plugins except Connections (v 8.1? surely a mistake?) and I also get the error:

“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums”

Disabling Connections and re-enabling my other plugins allows the site to function properly. As soon as Connections is running (with or without any other plugins), I can no longer access anything from the Plugins > Add New screen.

Currently FriendlyCase works with WordPress generated Post/Page titles using, ‘the_title”

My guess would be you could alter the plugin to add WooCommerce’s, “product_category” etc as additional add_filter functions – possibly adding in as a variable to, add_filter(‘the_title’, ‘friendlycase’);

Can’t look at this right away, but will see what I can do later – but it will most likely not be a function to FriendlyCase since it’s too specific to another plugin.
