I finally figured out what the problem was! I hope this will help anyone who encounters this problem in the future.

The problem- Your menu is present (but it is hiding due to the font colour). On a mobile device when you select those three lines your linked items in the menu are showing up, but if the font colour and the menu background are the same colour, you won’t be able to see the links in your menu.

Solution: Change the background colour in your menu or keep the background colour but change the font colour. In the end, I changed my background colour and submenu & overlay background. I have outlined below how to do this.

    1. Navigate to site editor
    2. Select Design > Navigation
    3. Select the Header Menu or the menu you’d like to edit. A box will appear on the right-hand side of the screen that allows you to edit the template or the block.
    4. Select the block. From the block you’ll be able to select setting or style.
    5. Select style. Change the background colour and the submenu & overlay text colour to a colour that will allow you to see the font when you open the menu in mobile view. Once you’re happy with your colour- save the changes and test it has worked.

I figured out the issue. I was using a child version of the YITH theme that was developed with the assistant of my website host. I’ve reverted to the parent theme and and all functionality is now working as it should- only thing now is that I am missing the features that were available in the child theme.

    Hi Victor,

How would I do that? I have added and deleted the code but it is still not showing in mobile view.

    Hi Victor,

Thank you, but the issue is still there even with the added CSS.
