You must enter a valid domain that you own. If a domain you own cannot be added, please use the contact-us link in the dashboard and we will add it manually for you.

I see, you’ll need to use a different embed code for the Arabic version. The default widget setting just use the same embed code for all posts.

First, you’ll want to go to the settings page and disable the widget. Then you’ll need to manually insert the code into the English posts. And then select an Arabic voice and insert the resulting code into the Arabic posts.

Could you install the plugin on your website and send me the URL so I can see what the problem is?

Sorry for the late reply. I’ve just tested with WordPress 6.1.1 and the plugin is working normally as before. I updated the plugin to indicate compatibility with the latest WP version on the plugin store.

This plugin does not access any database directly; those errors are probably coming from your WP installation. When you’re in the Settings page, the plugin calls some APIs to retrieve the list of voices and that’s it. Are you able to enter the Settings / SiteSpeaker Widget page?

After logging in, on the top right of the page there’s a “Person” icon, which should pops up a menu with two options “Profile”, and “Logout”.

It says demo only if you use the “demo” API key. Please sign up for an account to get your own API key. It is still free, and it allows proper analytics to be collected for each account. The “demo” API key is there only for you to try out the widget, not for production use.

Hi, if you update a page, you may have to wait 30 minutes before the audio gets updated. This is done to minimize cost and prevent abuse. In case you need to make many updates in succession, only the latest one will be synthesized after 30 minutes.

I apologize for the late reply. If the default algorithm fails to grab the correct text to read, you’ll need to indicate specifically which elements should be read. It will require knowledge of WordPress customization.

You indicate which HTML elements should be read by adding this CSS class to them: sitespeaker-read-aloud. You’ll want to add this class to the title of the post and the post’s body.

I apologize for the late reply. I’ve looked at your page and see that there is a problem in the markup. Specifically, this text appears inside the embed code and causes the code to fail to execute: “ZieZo biedt een begrijpend lezen training aan voor leerlingen van groep 5 t/m 8 en de onderbouw van het voortgezet onderwijs”

Please use that clue to figure out where the mistake is. Maybe you accidentally pasted it in the page template?
