Unfortunately the issue is isolated to the “pro” version of the PublishPress. I’ve entered a ticket with PublishPress also.

Update: There is a new conflict with Publish Press Pro. When I disable then the Yoast plugin functions as expected. This started happening with the latest Yoast Update. Any thoughts?

    Hi Michael,
After you clicked on “Rewrite & Republish”, did you make any changes to CoSchedule?

I think that’s where we’re running into the issue.

We’re taking an old post that was originally published years ago at a time when we were not using CoSchedule. We then choose “rewrite & republish” and assign the post a new date for republication in WordPress.

AFTER THAT, we can see the “draft” created by the Yoast Duplicate Post Plug-in on our CoSchedule calendar. At that time, we are then adding the tasks and scheduling social media for the post in CoSchedule, giving it color coding etc.

Then in WordPress, we schedule the post to be republished. Once the post republishes, we still see it on our CoSchedule calendar, but it’s lost all the color coding, the tasks and the social media have disappeared.

In your test, you added tasks and stuff in CoSchedule to the ORIGINAL post not to your duplicated draft. Try creating a new post and backdating it a few weeks. Then “rewrite & republish” and give the post a current or future date. THEN add CoSchedule tasks, give it color coding in CoSchedule and then republish it and see what happens.

My suspicion is that when you update the original post, the CoSchedule updates are not being transferred to the original post.

    Best wishes,
    Carrie

Thanks for your response! To answer your questions:

    1. Yes, all of our non-Yoast plugins and themes updated.

    2. Yes, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/coschedule-by-todaymade/ is the plug-in that we’re using for CoSchedule.

    3. We are not using any other CoSchedule plugins – that is the only one.

    4. Yes, our Duplicate Post is v4.1.2

I appreciate your help to troubleshoot the problem and look forward to hearing what you find out.

    Best wishes,
    Carrie
