Hmm. That doesn’t seem to solve the problem. I recently upgraded from PHP 7.4. That was fatal for the theme I was using. I moved to a new theme, Daily Newspaper. That wasn’t fatal. I just had these messages. After going to PHP 8.0 the errors appeared in both the Twenty Twenty-one theme and the Daily Newspaper theme. I’m reluctant to drop back to 7.4 because my webhosting service will charge fees for the extended support for it. I hope the ticket is resolved soon.
