No, I did not. I see that box for the confirmation email sent to the customer. I don’t see where you can change style of the email received by the adminstrator.

    Please advise, thanks –

Mike, your reply does not answer my question. Please explain:

Is a customer who sets up an account supposed to be able to download their purchase from the emailed link? Because the links from purchases made when I was using an account don’t work, whether I’m logged in or not.

If an Account holder who makes a purchase is only allowed to download his purchase from the My Account page, then why is he given a link in the receipt email? This is alarming and confusing to the purchaser if this link does not work. Why is the customer not informed that they must go to their Account Page to get their download?

Furthermore, the message does not even say something appropriate like “You must go to your Account Page (with link) to download your purchase” — instead it says “This is not your download link. Go to homepage”, which is also confusing to the purchaser, as they still don’t know here to go to get their purchase; what is the purpose of directing them to the homepage, when they should be directed to their account page to get their links?

Am I missing something here, or is this just set up in a very nonsensical and confusing way?

Please explain the official policy on exactly how an Account Holder is supposed to get their purchase, as opposed to how a Guest is supposed to get their purchase, so I can explain this clearly to my customers.

Also, am I able to edit the “This is not your download link. Go to homepage” message myself, so I can direct them to their account page? If so, how and where do I do this?

    Please explain fully, thank you.

Aha! Thanks so much for your swift reply Mike, that might be it!

Yes this was the first time I made purchases with a newly-set up account, I had previously only checked out as Guest, which I’ve been assuming most of my customers will want to to.

So the deal is Guest purchasers get their product via email, but Account Holders must only download products from their Account page?

Please explain the official procedure here for how customers are supposed to get their stuff, thanks!
