Let me clear up what I meant.
I wanted to fit some type of bulletin board install within my wrap of WP. I guess I could try and do an include on a page rather than a post.

Does bbPress mesh well with WP yet?

Unfortunately, enabling mod_rewrite in Apache goes beyond technical support guidelines. You can contact Sales if you would like the Web Extras group to perform this at a minimal fee.

Anyone know where I can download and install this in Apache?

yes there’s a blank .htaccess file there now with 666 permissions. When I make the change in the permalinks section and click the button the links url changes correctly but the page coming up is still 404.

Yes I’ve done that and the links look like:

https://www.kensavage.com/archives/yellow-orange-pink-wristbands

but those server up 404 errors.

The old links of https://www.kensavage.com/?p=97 still work.

Is it because I don’t have mod_rewrite installed?
How do I check if I do have it installed OTHER THAN calling my webhost?

I agree with most of you that WP would be perfect for my client especially using permalinks which I just learned about.
I’m not going to look else where just yet because I believe the support and documentation of WP has already sold me to be a GREAT blog package.
