Thank you for your response, James. I followed the instruction on the link you gave me. When I accessed the phpMyAdmin, the siteurl and home already have the proper url but still the site is inaccessible. Please see the site and tell me what’s wrong.

I can still view the wordpress on its folder but it’s messed up and I cannot access the admin anymore.

Thanks for the reply guys! The problem was resolved. I just updated the theme. I guess outdated tools are really prone to hacks. I’ll also do the security measures that you advised. Thanks!

I just realized that creating child themes is too technical for me. WordPress says that the stated plugin might be incompatible with the current wp version.
