In reply to: How do I download my database from phpmyadmin on my localhost?I want all the pages and posts content including media library. I have the theme I build already. I would like to have the plugins like Theme Sniffer since that doesn’t seem to be available anymore, but there is a good chance I still have it in my downloads folder. I just figured a full DB copy would be best.
By the way, if there a file option for “Export” and “Import” or is it a button?

In reply to: How do I download my database from phpmyadmin on my localhost? Thanks. From my experience, the migration plugins don’t allow you to get everything unless you upgrade to a paid version. Once I import, how do I tie that DB to the WP install? Copy it into the DB that I get when I install WP?

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] new version broke my siteFirst off there is nothing special about “_test” – it could be anything to deactivate the plugin. Secondly, I never said to do that to the plugins folder but instead to the ocean extra plugin

In reply to: [Ocean Extra] new version broke my siteThat link shows going into phpmyadmin. I don’t want to do that. Is there a way to deactivate ocean extra from cpanel? I changed the filename in wp-content/plugins by adding _test to the end, got into my admin area, updated the theme, theme reset the name. Then I updated ocean extra again and I’m good now.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Uninstalling WoocommerceDo the following:
1. reinstall the plugin – You have to have the plugin installed before you add the code to wp-config.php
2. Go to your root folder public_html
3. open wp-config.php
4. find the line /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */
5. directly above that add define( ‘WC_REMOVE_ALL_DATA’, true ); and save the file
6. then deactivate and remove the plugin. That will work. If it doesn’t then the problem is on your end. It may be your host company not letting you save changes to the config file. Double-check that the code is still there after you save wp-config.php and close it.
It’s 28GB after excluding the media library. The download failed after trying to download the backup with the media library, which I think was 50+ GB. Hopefully, this will work. How will I download that large of a file if it fails?
Thanks, let me check that out.
Do I need to access that via cpanel or is it available from the admin dashboard?

In reply to: [Astra] Errors in Appearance > Widgets sectionI have no idea how you would replicate it because I don’t know why it is happening.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Astra] Errors in Appearance > Widgets sectionRight-click > Inspect then click the Console tab to view the errors. I actually scrolled further down and then I see the widgets so it is usable.
I’m helping someone else speed up their site and do some design work. They obviously have the Astra theme, but they also have the following:
Under Appearance, they have Starter Templates and Astra Options.
In Plugins, they have Astra Widgets.Do you have any of those? I removed 14 plugins:
Accelerated Mobile Pages Advanced Database Cleaner Charts Blocks for Gutenberg Google Listings and Ads HandL UTM Grabber Jetpack No Self Pings SmartCrawl Structured Content Tracking Code Manager W3 Total Cache WP Dashboard Notes WP First Letter Avatar WP Review
I wondering if removing “Charts Blocks for Gutenberg” is the cause. The plugin “Structured Content” is suspect as well, but I do not know what they do. I asked the owners if they knew what the plugins were for and if they were using them – they said no on both accounts.
When I go to Appearance > Astra Options > Astra Widgets and then click Settings, it takes me into the widgets area where the red panels with the errors are displayed.
Here is a screenshot

In reply to: [Astra] Errors in Appearance > Widgets sectionRight now, the widgets area is unusable.

In reply to: [Astra] Can the theme developer team help me with a child themeOk – thanks!
I did notice that. Is that was is preventing the deletion? I installed another plugin to remove them. I’ll make a note of that in the future – thanks!
