In reply to: [FakerPress] “Featured Image” field missingAh, OK, then it would make sense to have say “Rate”, not “Weight” —?like the rest of the times this setting is used.
I thought maybe that’s what it meant, but when I had left it at the default in previous attempts, I didn’t see that any of the generated posts had featured images. But maybe that was an oversight on my part and I had missed them.

In reply to: [FakerPress] “Featured Image” field missingCan you explain its function? I actually don’t know what it does.

In reply to: [FakerPress] “Featured Image” field missingThat did it! Thanks for the super quick response. I thought the “Weight” field meant something completely different.

In reply to: [FakerPress] “Featured Image” field missingSorry for the delay — I didn’t get a notification that you’d responded for some reason.
OK, yes, that _thumbnail_id field and its options are there.
I guess it’s not clear to me how to make the meta fields work.
I have the following under meta field rules, but it does not generate featured images:
Type: Attachment
Name: _thumbnail_id
Configuration: Attachment ID
PlacHold.it, Unsplash.it, Lorem Pixel
…but no Featured images are generated. Am I missing something?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP calling TINYMCE language files that don't existThat I did — well, I contributed my details to a report that was already started. He hasn’t been able to reproduce it yet. It’s an outstanding plugin, so my mentioning it in no way should detract anyone from using it. It is the most essential plugin in my arsenal!
Thanks, esmi. I’ll repost if I find a resolution, for anyone else who comes upon this thread.

In reply to: WP calling TINYMCE language files that don't existesmi, I think you may be right… I don’t have an opportunity to thoroughly test right now (have to update the test environment first), but I now suspect that this is caused by the Advanced Custom Fields plugin (in my case), as I see other related issues in the support forums.
This has only been an issue with one site so far, though I’ve use ACF in all Worpdress sites I’ve created within the past year or so… the only real distinction I can see between this site and the others is that this is a multisite installation (which each site on a subdirectory of the main domain) — though I don’t see how that would be a related issue…
Thanks! That was exactly what the issue was.

In reply to: [FoxyShop] [Plugin: FoxyShop] Foxyshop disabling manual jquery enqueuShop is treated as a sort of separate entity for this site. I know, this is a very specific use case.
I added a priority of 16 for the jQuery enqueue (and also changed it to execute on ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’ instead of ‘init’, as I originally had it— actually, I tried both), and my enqueque jQuery is still stripped if I add that a page to the FoxyCart settings. I tried an even later priority, just in case. Still no luck.
This is no big deal for this site, but I’m just not sure why it’s happening.

In reply to: [FoxyShop] [Plugin: FoxyShop] Foxyshop disabling manual jquery enqueuYeah, just for that reason —?I’m a little anal about loading unnecessary stuff :-/
Thanks — I hadn’t thought about setting the priority!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [FoxyShop] [Plugin: FoxyShop] Foxyshop disabling manual jquery enqueuActually, no it’s not fixed—I’ve just “worked around” it by not excluding pages (which I would like to). If I addd jQuery via enqueue (in my functions.php, independently of foxy shop), then exclude pages (via page ID or slug) in the FoxyShop settings, this also overrides the jQuery I’ve added myself in functions.php, so I can’t get jQuery at all on those pages.

In reply to: [FoxyShop] [Plugin: FoxyShop] Foxyshop CDN links brokenMy bad. I think this had to do with the fact that I was trying to reach the secure cdn from a domain name that’s different than the one set up in the store, not the links cited above.
…and I learned something new… had no idea you could use “//” instead of “https://”!

In reply to: [FoxyShop] [Plugin: FoxyShop] Foxyshop disabling manual jquery enqueuI forgot to add the jQuery is loading on the actual FoxyShop pages, just not any of the other pages of the site.
Also, I just discovered this: I had been using the “Skip FoxyCart Includes on These Pages:”. When I removed the page IDs from this field, jquery began loading again.

In reply to: [FoxyShop] [Plugin: FoxyShop] One "Add to Cart" button for multiple productsThanks so much for the excellent example. I see your poin though about the GET string length, and I want these guys to be able to expand their product offering easily, so I’ve convinced them to use a more traditional “add to cart” method. I’m saving that code, just in case it comes in handy for in the future, though. Thanks for the time you took with a very specific use case.

In reply to: "Content Modules" not associated with Pages or Posts?ETA: I ended up just creating custom posts types, but I’m not happy with that solution.
(never mind). In my case it was just over-testing in the browser without reloading properly.
