Google will rank you on the quality, freshness and relevancy of your content, plus the social proof around it. That’s the important stuff to concentrate on.

In reply to: How to remove "Comments" …Ah, then it’s hidden from view. At the top-right of your post editing page you should see a little tab called ‘Screen Options’ Click that and a whole lot of checkboxes appear. One will be labeled ‘Discussion’. Make sure that is checked. When it is, scroll down your screen and you should see it. (It’s usually in the middle somewhere).

In reply to: Huge blank space in my tableYour default CSS has set your images to “vertical-align: baseline”. You need to set these images to “vertical-align: top”.
There is also an extra, empty paragraph at the top of Dongui Ouattara description which need to be removed.

In reply to: Downloads from my siteHi,
First make sure that the files are in a format than can be used across Windows and Mac. For examples, Microsoft documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) should be converted to PDFs; images should be JPEG or PNG; and compressed files should be ZIP.
Second, if you have an idea of how many people will be downloading your files, then you can make some basic decisions. Less than 100 downloads a day can be done from your WordPress site. More than that and I would use either a file transfer service (like Dropbox), or a Content Distribution Network (CDN) such as Amazon S3.
If you have less than 100 downloads a day, simply use the Media button in your post editing toolbar to upload the file to your website. Grab the URL of the uploaded file from the media library when it’s done and create a link with it in your post.
For Dropbox or a CDN, upload the file, grab the file URL that you’ll be given and create a link with it in your post.
There’s one more thing to think about, and that’s whether you want to protect someone from ‘stealing’ the links to your downloads and placing them of a site that isn’t yours. If you don’t min, then the above works fine. It you don’t want anyone else to have these links, then you’ll need to install a plugin that protects the link.
There are a whole bunch of these plugins to choose from here:https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/search.php?q=protect+downloads

In reply to: Change of color tab in one page onlySome themes have a place where you can add custom CSS code. If your one doesn’t, install a plugin that enables this on your website. An example would be:

In reply to: Daily Refreshing Posts On Home PageYou can set the number of posts you want to appear on the home page in the Settings > Reading dashboard. This is set to ’10’ by default, but if you set it to ‘1’, you’ll only see the most recent post on this page.
I hope I’ve understood your question correctly.
