RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication”. Simply explained, it makes the posts on your WordPress website available in the form of an RSS feed, which can be read by another website.

It is a way of making the content of your posts available for sharing by others.

That said, you shouldn’t be getting error s such as this. How are you creating your RSS feed? With a plugin, or is it a function built into your WordPress theme?

The control panel you need to be working in to accomplish these steps is phpMyAdmin, which you’ll see if you log in to your web hosting CPanel.

This is not something you do in the WordPress admin area.

Do an online IP lookup to check that this IP address is not a GoogleBot or other web indexing spider.

Which browser are you using to look at your website? The Top Nav bar is centered for me using Firefox.

If you have correctly set the Site URL in the ‘General’ settings of your WordPress dashboard, then certainly contact Bluehost for support. It looks like your domain name is no forwarding correctly.

Can you post the URL of your website so that we can check it’s not your own browser or set up that is doing this?

Yes, it looks like you’re using double-quote marks (“) in your Post Metadata, which is prematurely terminating the src attribute of your <img> tag. Try using single quotes instead (‘) in the metadata.

How many rows of buttons do you see in the toolbar? If it’s just one row, then your text color controls are only hidden, not gone.

To show the second row of buttons on your toolbar, click the toolbar button that looks lite two small horizontal film strips.

Your YouTube video’s “embed” code is too wide for your website’s content column.

It’s a simple fix.

When you click the embed button on YouTube, scroll down a bit and it shows you some preset sizes, plus a ‘custom size’ box for you to choose the size of the video. All of the preset sizes are too wide for your content column. Instead, use the custom box to set the video with to about 500 pixels. That will automatically adjust the embed code you need, and will fit perfectly on your website.
