Sorry Jacob, I’ve fixed it by looking back at previous posts and seeing unexpected output by jacobuz.

Did the following:
Go to?Photo Albums -> Settings -> Advanced settings -> Maintenance -> I
Run the items
18: Renew album crypt
and
20: Renew photo crypt

I’ve generated a new test page and added [wppa type=”content” album=”2″ size=”1200″ align=”center”]

This works ok as it’s the album Australia. If I change it to [wppa type=”content” album=”3″ size=”1200″ align=”center”] for the album Barbados, then it fails with the error

Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

If you want to stop it completely then in Settings/Basic Settings/General untick #10 Enable GPX.
If you want to remove it from a page then add
[wppa_set name=”wppa_gpx_implementation” value=”none”][/wppa_set]
to the page

Normally Chrome but I’ve tried Edge and it’s the same

I’ve just gone into troubleshooting mode, disabled all plugins except WPPA and changed to a default theme. The problem is still there.

Hi Jacob, I’m also having problems with a slideshow. It works great with default setting but when I started changing settings, I just got a blank page. Returning to default settings and all Ok. I then backed up my main sites settings, which works well, and imported to my test site, restored settings and it stopped working. Hope this helps shed light on it

OK, tried that and got exactly the same results.
I also tried it on another site and got the same results, even when I disabled all other plugins and used a different theme.
