Zooming was disabled in fullscreen mode (a.k.a Presentation Mode) because it was interfering with mouse scrolling. See details here:

Please use the zoom feature provided outside the presentation mode, as shown in the screenshot below:

Unfortunately we don’t, however there are many content protection plugins as shown here:
