Thank you very much. That resolved the issue. I didn’t know I could do that in Screen Options. Thank you again.

Thanks Jeremy. I will check it out throughout the day and see if that referrer shows back up on the list. Can you share with me how you resolved the problem and what I can do in the future if it happens again? Also, how were you able to access my list of blocked referrers?

My site is https://leadershipvoices.com and the referrer that I marked as spam was one of the two LinkedIn referrers on the list. One is the long one and I think that is the one I marked accidentally. The shortened one is still there.

    Thanks for your help.

What if I accidentally mark a referrer as spam. Can I undo that? There is some indication that an undo option exists. But it did not show up next to the ellipsis as indicated.

I have accidentally marked a referrer as spam and there was no undo option. Do you know how to reverse this?

I have the same exact issue as arnieswap.

I deactivated ALL plugins and tried to upload an image for my article and I get the same exact error as shown here: https://imgur.com/BOaMB8h

This problem started today and one of the forums said it was a compatibility issue with flash and I needed to go ahead and update to 3.7. I updated but it did not fix the issue.

Since it is not a plugin issue. What is the next step?

    ESMI,

    Thank you for your help.

And here is a general word of advice for you. You generally will get more patience from someone who is having a problem with a product or service that you are supporting and representing if you will give a little more than a one word and one link answer. If the fact that you are not being paid to support the product is a problem for you, then I suggest that you take that up with WP. As a customer, I am willing to pay for support. I have paid for a premium theme and premium support (although I can’t get that to work either, but that is another story.) I am not expecting something for free. I pay for the website, the domain, the hosting and some other tools.

I apologize that I offended you. I meant no harm. But there was nothing in your initial response that indicated that you had given my question anything more than a passing thought.

Even though it is not, I will mark this as resolved since you have indicated that you feel that this is a server issue. I am not sure how a manual update versus an automatic update will make a difference if the actions are being performed manually instead of automatically on a server that has a problem. But, I will seek honey coated advice and help somewhere else. Perhaps they can help explain what to do or at least advise me whether or not I should stay with the most recent version of WP.

Again, I am sorry that I came on with vinegar instead of honey.

Really? Is that the best you can offer?

I chose to use WordPress because it was supposed to be easier. How about taking a look at the error message and determine what is causing it so that I can do the automatic update?

I am not trying to be a smart-aleck. But, I am not a webhead and I don’t feel comfortable with a manual update at this point without at least some attempt to get some help on the cause.

Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone else reported a similar error message?

I am trying to update to 3.6. I deactivated all plugins and tried the update and still get this message:

    Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-3.6-new-bundled.zip…

Warning: touch() [function.touch]: Unable to create file /tmp/wordpress-3.tmp because No such file or directory in /home/kevinb11/public_html/LeadershipVoices.com/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 179

Warning: unlink(/tmp/wordpress-3.tmp) [function.unlink]: Operation not permitted in /home/kevinb11/public_html/LeadershipVoices.com/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 503

Download failed.: Could not open handle for fopen() to /tmp/wordpress-3.tmp

    Installation Failed

I am not using any of the three plugins mentioned earlier in the thread. Anyone with any suggestions?
