This is really a Buddypress issue it seems. We experienced the same problem. If you can resolve it would be great.

I am experiencing the same issue. Amazing how we cannot get any resolution to issues and try just disappear and we have no recourse. It would be one thing if they just admit there is an issue and say they are working on it.

I have found the issue I am having. I have a plugin called StopBAdBots. This plugin when enabled causes WP SES to turn off. Any idea how I can fix this? I need this plugin.

So…does disabling XML-RPC have any impact on the plugin?

I am having this same issue. I updated to php 7.1 and same issue happening.
