Hello @xenusm
Please update your plugin and test if the issue still persist.
Let me know how it goes.
Hello Roncla.
The plugin itself cannot change the languages. You must log in to your Cookiebot account and add additional languages to the content for the Cookie Banner.
This will then choose depending on where the user is coming from.
It is very likely you are using another platform to implement the GA cookies and the facebook pixel. In many cases our customers use Google Tag Manager to input Google Analytics and it requires a specific setup as well to block the cookies it inputs into your website.

If cookies are being set, before consent has been given, it is due to the implementation of the product. It is required to be implemented correctly for it to provide the full service of Cookiebot. If it is implemented incorrectly, it will not block the cookies as intented.
Like Richard stated GTM requires you to configure it as well.
@casikring
Could you let me know what the domain name is and I will take a look on your website. It recognizes any cookie on the website.
The source is regardless if it is http or https, it is still found by the scanner.
Our scanner will only scan websites that are added with a https certificate to Cookiebot.
Active is implied consent.
It is an old term for it.
You can also go to your Cookiebot Manager and see the description for the “active” option. It is stated:
“Website visitors ignoring the consent dialog automatically consents to all cookies by continued use of the website”.
Hello Werner.
Explicit consent is a visitor browsing your website, performing an affirmative action to give consent to cookies.
This means only when consent has been given, the cookies are allowed to be set into their browser.
Implied consent is usage based in many ways. Clicking on a link in the website, refreshing the website or scrolling on the website, the visitor provides consent by performing any of these actions.

Hello Werner.
Our scanner only supports using https domains.
Cookies can come from any place, even http domains. So the cookies found on your domain, relate to a http domain. You can remove the URL or script that is setting this cookie to influence it.
Hello.
You can set placeholders that explain to the customer that they haven’t opted in for the specific category of cookies and therefore cannot see the icon.
Hold your mouse over the plugin and a dropdown menu will show to the left of the “Cookiebot Plugin”.
Hello.
You need to activate the plugin, before you get access to the settings of the plugin.
Hello.
Unfortunately, you cannot have google maps running without accepting marketing cookies.
This is due to how marketing cookies need to be blocked before consent and if the user doesn’t provide the required consent, they will not be able to see google maps or videos for that matter. What you can do, is provide the box with a placeholder that explains visitors that they need to have marketing cookies enabled to see google maps.
We have done some testing and you need to accept both statistical and marketing cookies due to the cookies set by Google Maps.

Are you testing this while in WP admin?
I tested on Firefox and chrome. In both instances the google maps appeared after accepting cookies.
Are you using a macbook or a laptop?
I would suggest empty cache on the macbook itself and empty cache on the laptops browsers and accept all cookies.
Let me know how that goes.
