Seems to be working now, once I sent a ticket to my server people, they sorted it out, not sure if they’re upgrading things because they have gone to php 4.3.10 , strange days. So anyone wondering what’s going on, it seems to be a server problem rather than something you did, so relax, don’t worry about it contact your admin boys and they should sort it out ??

Ok now I know what zend optimizer is, however, I don’t think I’ve got it installed in the first place, it doesn’t show up on in my cpanel anywhere. How can I uninstall it if it’s not installed, or I can’t see it. Anyone know where this would be found in the cpanel that is…

Damn thanks Podz the last link is PERFECT for what I need. It’s not open source which is a shame. I’ve seen this MO before. Make it free get them hooked then charge them for it, like Virtuoso and Info Angel.
I don’t need anything more than what it’s got going and hopefully by that stage Chandler will have been released and all will be well with the world, hell when Sunbird comes out, hopefully it will have a PIM installed as part of the calander features.

There were a couple of points dealing with px rather than em and margins that cocked up in IE. It’s mostly there, just have a few little bits and pieces to deal with before the official release. Thanks Alphaoide.

macmanx thanks for you concern but unless you can actually provide a better idea than ‘let’s do something’ it’s obvious you think we should mind our own business and blah blah, see where I’m from that’s pretty cold and shows no sense of community, and to be honest you’re part of a community by posting here and regular basis, and ultimately I’d like to think that the wordpress community actually tries if nothing else to look after each other; even when it has nothing to do with coding.

Erm well actually as I’ve been talking to the man non stop for 2 months I think I consider him a friend. Is there any way of calling him, I mean where would I get his number? I’ve got his e-mail address but nothing coming back from there.

Now here’s the 30 million dollar question. I want page that has a specific formatting to it. Say for example I want all the text to go in a column on the right and an image on the left.
The thing is it’s different from the main template, so I make a new php file like you said above etc.
Now I want the text I write in the page edit section of the wp control panel to show up in my specially formatted php file.
What code do I include in the php file I created that will call all the text I’ve written in the page in the wordpress control panel relating to that particular page?
