In reply to: Manji Theme PreviewThanks Redsoxhut, the wordpress community was what made me actually choose it over other blogging software. And it was great doing it.
See if root was here he’d make sure about stuff like that :). I have no idea what happened to Root, although I don’t think it’s good since he really was always connected to the internet, it’s very strange to be honest.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Manji Theme PreviewAnd just to keep the thread alive, Manji 1.0 Preview is up and out, go get it if you want ??

In reply to: Manji “Sideshow” – This Is Not A Love Story V3The first time I saw I just got a tingle up the back of my neck, it’s like Manji but not and it’s absolutely brilliant. Such a twist on the whole concept and officially the first flavour not done by me :). I’m soo impressed you did that in 1 day, and I know it was one day because I sent the files to you on Saturday morning, opened my pc this morning and there it was, really slick work.

In reply to: Manji Theme PreviewI could very potentially work back and release it for v1.2, of course there’d have to be a lot of work for you to do that’s completely taken care of by v1.3.
I can understand why you’re not moving to a beta version of wp, but it’s soo much easier. Good point, I’ll release a very initial version, ie the css, images and index page, anything else I’m missing?Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Manji Theme PreviewThanks guys.
eragle: The switch should be pretty damn easy to be honest, put the folder in themes, press activate, you could even switch between the two when you’re really bored :). That’s what I love about WP 1.3.
nwfast: Less is more, less is more ??
And yeah Rayzrshrp, this is a Manji thread ?? lol.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Manji Theme PreviewHey thanks. It seems simple and clean is all the fashion, didn’t you know :). Thanks for the kind words.

In reply to: Manji Theme PreviewThanks, that’s really a nice thing to say, truely appreciate it alphaoide.
As for the comment icons, not really sure I want to clutter things up with more explanations. However if there is a problem and people don’t get them, then I guess I will have to rethink the strategy ??Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Nightly Build Down?Sweet. Thanks for that.

In reply to: Using CSS for button functionalityHAHAHAHAHA, perfect. Damn that nearly drove me insane. I’ve been trying all morning to sort that out right now. Podz, ohdear, thanks a million. If I run into any more issues I’ll be sure to post here, man that’s what I love about the wordpress community, it’s always there for people.

In reply to: Using CSS for button functionalityI realised that was the case, however I don’t want to put any text in there.
Ohdear I tried that out and it worked fine it’s just that I really just want the button to work on it’s own.
Would something like onclick function be of use here?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Using CSS for button functionalityOk so it works now, which is cool, however I it doesn’t pick up the entire height of the graphic anymore.
It has a bar down the middle of the same colour as that of the normal link, the bar then changes colour to that of the hover.
so if
a {
color: #ffffff;
}
The bar is white
a:hover{
color: #000000;
}
The bar is black.
it’s really annoying I can get it to look fine but not work, or I can get it to look crap and work….Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Using CSS for button functionalitySee that’s what I had originally, but the problem is that I’d have to make edit the path in the img src right? Since I’m doing this for the theme (chameleon) I’m working on I want to keep all references to images in the css.
Also would I need to add:
style=”cursor: hand;” in the div if I want the cursor to actually show up as a hand, or would it do that automatically?
Thanks podz, hey dude have you heard from Root at all? The guy’s gone missing…Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: quicktags for comments (javascript issue)ok I feel embaressed right now as the actual reply was staring me in the face, Basically the ed_bold is the ID tag, just suit in the css and that should be it. I’m going to see if hover effect will work in the same what or not.

In reply to: Theme Editor changeIsn’t it the code in the header?
Check out this page,… https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Theme_DevelopmentForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Quick tags and templatesI’ve posted the code for the actual form. Now the buttons don’t show up if I keep the js file in the themes directory. If I put the file in the root directory then they show up. Thing is they may show up but they don’t work.
I’ve got to admit that I don’t know anything about javascript, so please go a bit easy ??
