In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Specific use case / display optionHi @eaec
Thank you for contacting us.
You could try installing the WPeMatico RSS Feed Reader addon, it’s totally FREE and you can find it in the WP repository.
This addon allows to display the feed items using shortcodes, page templates or get_the_content function, every time the campaign is run WPeMatico will get and display the most recent feed items depending on the configuration.
This way you will be able to display the feed items in any of your posts, pages or somewhere in your website.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Displaying CampaignHi @nubiesan
Thanks for your interest, please allow me to explain.
WPeMatico FREE does not use shortcodes to display posts but creates the posts directly on your WordPress site as if a person had done it.
The campaigns are to organize and configure feeds according to your needs, then when you run it WPeMatico will read the feed items (depending on the quantity configured) to create the posts on your site.
We invite you to take a look at our video tutorials, they are a bit old but very useful to get started, if you have more questions you can also consult our FAQs.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Store images locally problemHi @wee2326
The image settings (and many others) can be configured in general from WPeMatico>Settings, but they can also be rewritten inside each campaign.
Did you check if inside your campaigns the option is enabled?
If it’s active, try to deactivate it and test again.
I also invite you to take a look at this article where you will get more information about the images and how to get them.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Suddenly start showing error in feed parsingHi @parul1111
We’re sorry to hear that you’re having problems using the plugin.
Have you been able to verify that the feed is working properly? maybe they changed its URL? You can open it in your browser to check.
You can also use free online feed validation services that are very useful to know if a feed is working or not, W3C Feed Validator is very good, you can test from there.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Disable “Alternative Text”Hi @superbr
The problem you mention could be related to the post title, it probably has those
<div></div> tags as well and possibly FIFU uses the post title to fill that field. The problem with “div” tags in the post title usually happens with some feeds (not with all), so far we haven’t found the cause of this but in the PRO version there are features to remove these tags from post title.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Limit the number of categories generatedHi @superbr
Thanks for your interest!
We assume you’re using the “Auto add categories” feature inside the campaign, right?
This feature gets all the values of the <category> tags of each feed item and then creates them in your WP site, unfortunately there is no option to limit in X amount the categories to generate but there are other alternatives.
1- Create the categories manually and then assign all the corresponding categories in each campaign.
2- Use the feature “For already created only ” (available on PRO version), this feature will only assign the categories that already exist and avoid creating new ones.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Searchable feeds and postsHi @todga
We don’t quite understand what you mean. Could you explain better what you need?
The feeds you use are saved in each campaign for use during the fetch, and the posts created will be available on your site.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] There is no link to the sourceHi @novichok78, sorry for the delay.
WPeMatico FREE gets the content directly from the or tags of the feed items, maybe the content in the feed items come without links, did you check?
On the other hand, inside each campaign there are options to remove HTML tags and links, make sure you don’t activate them.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Posts Not Fecth Automatic According To SheduleHi @persunkhan
We are sorry to hear that you’re having problems using the plugin.
Did you make sure to set up the CRON schedule correctly? You may want to take a look at our FAQ for more information: https://etruel.com/question/use-cron-scheduling/
On the other hand, WPeMatico includes a duplicate control, so every time the campaign is run WPeMatico analyzes the feed to check if there are new items to create, otherwise it will wait for the next run.
Regards,
ManuelWe have already seen the ticket you created in our support system and it is being studied, we will continue your case there and close this one.
Regards,
ManuelWe are sorry to hear that you are having problems, however, our plugin is fully compatible with WordPress and most plugins, browser extensions are out of our hands.
Anyway, it’s curious because I also use NordPass and I don’t have this problem, which makes us think that the problem may be related to another plugin.
We recommend you to check the browser console and check for JS errors of any plugin so you can take action on it.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] To search for keywords or words in the feedsHi @todga
The PRO version includes a Keywords Filter feature to allow or skip posts depending on the keyword.
However we don’t fully understand what you mean by “If the plugin is set to only display feeds with no excerpts and with no posts” could you please give us more details?
Regards,
ManuelHi @shd0wfire
Please let’s me explain to you, our plugin like many other autoblogging plugins don’t work on wordpress.com websites.
Our plugin is available for self-hosted WordPress websites that you can get from www.ads-software.com and you can test the free version there.
As you can understand this is in the hands of WordPress and not ours.
If you need a personalized WordPress website without limits I strongly recommend you to try a self-hosted WordPress website where you can install and modify whatever you want.

ManuelHi @eskorwerbeagentur I’m Manuel from WPeMatico support team, I’ll try to help you.
I understand that what you need is that the posts created by WPeMatico redirect to the original article, correct?
If the permalink of the feed item you’re trying to use has the correctly URL you could try activating the “Post title links to source” option inside the campaign, then, when people click on the title of your post they will be redirected to the original article.
Another way to do it is to add a link to the original article at the end of the content of each post, you can take a look at this FAQ for more information.
Remember that changes made in a campaign only affect posts created later.
Regards,
Manuel
