In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Widget options not savedGuys I suggest you seek an alternative plugin as I don’t think the support is active here.
Not sure if these will suit your needs but I’m using either woodojo or I’ve heard of Really simple twitter feed

In reply to: [Twitter Widget Pro] Widget options not savedI too have the same problem – changing any settings in “Settings/Twitter Widget” seems to override any individual settings I make in the actual widget.
Not a problem if you only have one instance of the widget on the site. I want 3 and all 3 end up with the default settings.
Sorted now – completely re-installed theme over existing one.

In reply to: [Cookie Control] Hide Cookie Control after consentOh I’ve tried switching my theme back to TwentyEleven which also used jquery 1.7.1
Hi,
I assume you have “Auto responder” checked in “Form notification options”?
Actually I don’t. The only thing I have in “Form notification options” is Email Form Responses to: [email address].
I am running the Basic free edition – I guess thats why I can’t see what your trying to explain. Must be a Pro edition feature.
Hi
The problem isn’t with the display of the form, its the contents of the Email that gets sent once the form has been submitted.I posted this also on the developers forum
blog.strategy11.com – and actually I think I’ve found where the problem is and how to rectify it, BUT its hardcoded and it would be wiped with a future update.I’ve asked how best to get around this but i’m still awaiting a reply.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Nginx URL Rewriting WarningHi,
Great plugin – but I too have the same problem as “evanw”.
WP 3.1 and using the Development version of W3 Total CacheIn my /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/mysite.com I have the following within the server block:
include /var/www/mysite.com/nginx.conf;
But with the plugin was still saying:
“It appears URL rewriting is not working. If using apache, verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess or if using nginx verify all configuration files are included in the configuration.”The only way to make the message disappear was in General > Page Cache > Page Cache Method: changed to Disk (basic) rather than Disk (enhanced).
Ok – will give you a shout when I can get it live
Hi oops my miss understanding. The plugins I’ve used to create custom taxonomies also create custom post types. I guess When i found your plugin i just automatically thought it would pull in custom posts types too. (Im new to WP so don’t know how or where wordpress stores these values)
I like the way your plugin works I was just looking for a way to avoid using categories and make my own post types.
Is it a major add-on or do you have any plans make a plugin like QMT but include custom post types?
Hi thanks.
I’ve read the post but I’m already using the latest version of GD custom posts and taxonomies tool and your plugin. My custom taxonomy “genre” is showing in the widget setting but my custom post type “movies” is not. I assume it’s meant too?
Not sure where I’m going wrong
UPDATE:
I’ve tried these two plugins on a fresh new site with NO other plugins thinking perhaps a conflict was happening somewhere. But I still can’t get this Eventbrite for The Events Calendar to work.
I’ve also tried in Chrome and Firefox. Plugins all up to-date.
This is really frustrating because it looks a really cool plugin and am I the only one who has a problem with it?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP
thanks
Just downloaded the development version, very nice the way list items work – in the previous version I had to add the widget X number of times.
Just a thought, I noticed with both drop-down and list items, when you select one it filters the results and tells you what filter you’ve picked, but if you select more than one it just says “Posts classified under”: filter X.
It would be cool if it could list the filters you’ve selected. If that makes sense
Thanks, will give that a go.
I’ve started to think my content might be better organized using Categories rather than Custom Post Types.
So how about (similar principle as above) but filtering within “Categories”?
Many Thanks
