It worked! I can’t believe it was so simple! I have switched themes, re-uploaded folders (like index.php) and done so many other things for such a long time. I took your advice with deactivating my plugins, one by one. Then, I noticed my blog came back up, so I reactivated them, one by one to find the culprit. ??

And FYI, my settings are correct (and I think my permalink structure is right), and I’ve already done things like replaced the index.php page with the original code.
