In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Not working after updateHi @jami23, thanks for reaching out. That’s a bit of a head scratcher with your subscription plugin not working after the 4.4.1 update; I can’t think of anything we changed in that version that would have impacted subscriptions. Regardless, let’s try to get to the bottom of the issue. A couple of questions for you:
- You mentioned making a copy and it works fine, is the copy with all plugins/theme?
- When you’re testing the subscription, you’re just referring to opting into the newsletter and your Audience in Mailchimp, correct? You’re not referring to an another recurring monthly subscription plugin, correct?
- What is the user level access with the email you’re testing?
- Are the orders marked as
completed
inside WooCommerce?
Look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi @jordanmunk, sorry to hear you’re having some performance issues with the Mailchimp WooCommerce plugin. Here are some potential causes and solutions to help improve performance:
Potential Causes:
1. Excessive Webhooks: Multiple active webhooks in your Mailchimp settings can overload the system with requests, slowing down performance. Ideally, there should only be one webhook for this integration.
2. Caching Conflicts: Server-side caching (e.g., Cloudflare, Redis) might interfere with plugin functionality. Exclude the Mailchimp WooCommerce plugin’s routes from caching.
3. Database Load: An unoptimized or overloaded database could slow interactions between WooCommerce and Mailchimp.
Suggested Solutions:
1. Audit Webhooks: To check for unnecessary or duplicate webhooks, follow these steps:
– Log into your Mailchimp account.
– Navigate to the Audience tab.
– Select the relevant audience associated with your WooCommerce store.
– Go to Manage Audience > Settings.
– Click on Webhooks to view all active webhooks for that audience.
– Ensure there is only one active webhook related to WooCommerce. If there are extras, you can delete them by clicking the “Delete” button next to each unnecessary webhook.
2. Adjust Caching: Configure caching to bypass Mailchimp routes, especially/wp-json/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/
.
4. Enable Remote Diagnostics: This plugin feature can help us analyze connection issues if needed.
5. Optimize Server Resources: Consider upgrading server memory to accommodate plugin demands.
Additionally, regarding the Mailchimp WooCommerce cookie filter setting, if you’re noticing issues with tracking or excessive cookie checks, you may want to enable or disable this filter. Adjusting the cookie filter can streamline cart performance, as explained in this https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/wiki/Enable-or-Disable-Cookie-Filter.
By working through these steps, you can help resolve performance issues and improve the cart experience for users. If problems persist, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help further.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] spam request from mailchimpThank you for the update, @quadlayers. If you don’t mind, could we kindly ask a favor? Since this behavior is expected with the plugin and performance can depend on factors like hosting, plugins, and themes in use, would you consider updating the review you shared? Of course, if there was any error on our part, whether with support or engineering, we would welcome any constructive feedback. However, in this case, it seems everything is functioning as designed. We appreciate your understanding!

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Stuck on Review sync settingsHi @michaelparak,
Thanks for providing the additional information. Please start by fully uninstalling the current version of the plugin and installing version 4.4.1 fresh.
As for the fatal error logs, even if they don’t seem directly related to Mailchimp, they could still be part of the problem. In WordPress, it’s not uncommon for other plugins or themes to create conflicts that affect site functionality, so reviewing those logs is important.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Stuck on Review sync settingsHi @michaelparak,
Thanks for following up! I have a couple of questions and suggestions to help us troubleshoot further:
- In your previous post, was that a console log from the browser? If so, these aren’t the logs we need. Please check the logs in your WordPress admin area by going to WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Look for logs labeled “fatal-errors” or any logs related to Mailchimp. These will give us more insight into what’s happening.
- Could you try performing a fresh uninstall and reinstall of the plugin, rather than just upgrading? Once reinstalled, please attempt the sync again and let us know if the issue persists.
If you still have issues, would you be open to privately sharing access to your installation so we can take a closer look?
Thanks for your patience.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Syncing Issue UrgentHi @mouindi, we restarted your sync and everything looks normal. If for some reason data still doesn’t populate, can you give us some order ID’s to look up? Keep in mind that orders with the following statuses do not sync from WooCommerce to Mailchimp:
- On Hold
- Draft
- Pending
- Failed
Only orders with the statuses of?Processing,?Completed, and?Paid?are synchronized by default.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Plugin makes it impossible to view large ordersHi @alijens, thanks for your patience on this issue. We’ve been testing on our end but haven’t been able to replicate the problem. We tested orders with up to 50 unique SKUs without any issues. It’s possible this might be due to a plugin conflict. Could you try cloning your site to a staging environment and see if the issue persists with only WooCommerce and Mailchimp enabled? Additionally, enabling remote diagnostics could help us identify the root cause.
