I did. I ended up playing with things for a bit since this was a new install and found that if I do a fresh install with the plugin being installed through the installer, it does the same after activation and saving. I then downloaded the plugin files separately then uploaded them via FTP and had no issue with it working. Not sure the issue, but it is no longer an issue.
