Just here to report that I have the same issue. I really hope there is a fix soon…
Hey Andrew,
Thank you so much for your attention to this matter.
I was able to resolve the issue by using the “Theme My Login” plugin. The login form now seems to work.
As for PM Pro’s login, I am wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I used a one click install app within cPanel to create the site, rather than uploading the WP files manually. That is really the only thing I can think of that is unique about this particular WordPress install.
I’ll look into forced https as well to see if that helps.
Hey there,
Looks like regardless of whether or not I attempt to login as a subscriber or admin, the page just refreshes and doesn’t log me in. There is nothing appended to the URL upon doing this.
Thankfully it looks like the wp-login.php URL at least works for admins, so I can continue to use that without having to disable the plugin anytime I need to log in.
Thank you so much for your response!
I am currently running PHP 7.3. My hosting uses a standard LAMP stack, nothing too special about it.
I do not get any sort of errors when I attempt to login. Basically, when I click the log in button, the page just refreshes and I am left staring at the login form again. It doesn’t actually log me in.
If I happen to enter in the wrong log in information, it does kick back telling me it is incorrect, so that functionality is still intact if that helps at all.
Have you seen anything like this before? I definitely need front end log in capabilities for this site, so I am wondering if trying a different log in form plugin may be worthwhile.
Would love to hear your thoughts- and thank you again for the response!

In reply to: [Refer A Friend for WooCommerce by WPGens] Referrals Keep on Sending!Alright, so I did some more troubleshooting and would like to offer more info on this.
Right now, it seems the issue is that a user can use their own referral code to get rewards. Is there a way to disable this?

In reply to: [Woocommerce Role Pricing] Role Price not showing on Variable ProductsI haven’t been able to figure this out, nor have I heard any response unfortunately. I understand if the devs are just busy, it definitely happens, but I gotta get this sorted out for my client asap. Considering shoving out the cash for a different plugin.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Category priority for product url in WooCommerceI’m having the same issue. vfreefly did you by chance find a solution?
I know you can click and drag to reorder the categories in the category editor, but that only seems to change the display in the dashboard on the edit product page rather than control the priority of which categories take precedence over others. I’ve noticed a lot of other people are asking questions about this as well, it would be really useful to be able to set which categories take priority over others!

In reply to: [Woocommerce Role Pricing] Role Price not showing on Variable ProductsDoes anyone have any feedback on this? Only variable products are affected.

In reply to: [Plugin: Instagram Feed]I was able to resolve this by going to this page instead: https://smashballoon.com/instagram-feed/token/
But either way, just thought I might want to point out that the button in the dashboard isn’t working on my end in case the developers want to investigate ??
So, I just had the same problem. I was able to fix it simply by ensuring any javascript/jquery script i had in my header came BEFORE the wp_header include. Feed now works fine- running 4.2.4. I hope this helps!

In reply to: Protecting URL PathsDoes anyone have any recommendations on code to achieve this or the resources at least? Anything is appreciated, this is a little over my head unfortunately…
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Protecting URL PathsYeah that’s what I figured :/ There isn’t a way to re-route media files uploaded via WordPress to be placed in a directory outside of the public_html folder is there? While I totally don’t mind just uploading the files via FTP myself, I’m also thinking about future clients and making things as easy as possible for them. Not all of them want to bother with FTP and all that. Right now, I have them uploading the audio via a custom post type, then I just have everything styled out in the theme they’re using so they don’t have to look at any code (which is usually my number 1 priority when building out things for most of my clients)
Also- any links you can share on how to write the PHP script for the permission to the file? I think this particular client might just opt to use samples of the music instead (because who wants to steal those right? :p ) but I’d definitely like to know in case a future client insists on having a full length song posted.
Thanks so much!

In reply to: Modifying WordPress Search to Pull From TagsAs I said, I’ve tried several plugins and they do not work with the custom search we have built. We poured hours upon hours into creating a custom search engine, and I would really rather receive feedback on where I can learn how to modify WP’s native search to include tags, rather than paying for a plugin that probably isn’t going to work.
Do you have any links to articles or documentation that goes into detail on how I could go about “juicing” it up?
