It gets replaced by WordPress’ repository .mo file.

No relief.

The moment you select the site language on Settings, the language files from the repository get downloaded replacing my .mo file.

It seems there is no way I cn use my own .mo file of the locale.

That was my mistake. I just placed the URL of the mp file instead of link. It is working nice now.

The problem was that somehow the template string was missing in the settings. Once I inserted it, the widget is working.

I inserted the Google CSE code myself and added a search form widget on the sidebar. I have just now added the Google analytics. So I’ll have wait for a day to check if it has started tracking.

You can see the custom search still “loading” on https://aimwa.in/ (sidebar) with DoNotTrack on.

Thanks. It (donottrack) almost fixes everything except the Google custom search code which still plays truant. I haven’t looked at the analytics thing yet.
