I really don’t know a whole lot about Canva. I know there are free graphics and then some cost like a $1, but I’ve only ever used free ones. You can also download your own photos and use them in which case there is no watermark or cost. Using the graphics with a watermark is surely ok to use. It’s really just a way for Canva to advertise itself. Someone mentioned PicMonkey to me which is a free photo/graphics editing tool. I’ve never used it, but you could check it out.
