In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Timely Calendar and the iPhoneHi Benjamin,
Since it seems as if you’re taking your sweet time to reply…GOOD NEWS, it took over 24 hours for the added event to show up onto the Google calendar, but it did indeed finally show up.
Caveat: I do own the own the website (and the server) that this Timely Calendar is located on.
Question: Any idea on how to speed this synchronization up? I would have thought it would have been something to do with a CRON job, but when I executed it manually with the Advanced Cron Manager Plugin, it didn’t show up.
It took over 24 hours. Let me know your thoughts. I’ll mark this topic as resolved, once I hear back from you on how to speed it up.
Thank you for your time.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Timely Calendar and the iPhoneHi Benjamin,
No. Just added a future event yesterday and, as of now 12 hours later, still never made it to my google calendar. Yes, I’m subscribed.
Here’s two screenshots:

-
In settings, Set my timezone to Los Angeles
In settings, checked the box “Display events in calendar time zone”
Edited each event to use my timezone Los AngelesThis seemed to have fixed it.

Found the error
[Fri Oct 23 08:05:15 2015] [warn] [client 50.57.69.235] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/XXXXX.com/:/tmp/) in /var/www/vhosts/XXXXX.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php
Which means some of wordpress components (I suppose nextgen-gallery plugin since it goes away when we disable the gallery plugin), is not configured correctly. There is no reason for XXXXXX.com website to have access to root ( / ) directory, and enabling it’s a security hole. Probably somewhere in module config you should pass /var/www/vhosts/XXXXXX.com/httpdocs instead of / .
Nextgen Galllery ppl, can you help?
