ok, I found a way to do half of what I need..

Below is the shortcode to mimic one event at least up until the end of the description.

Still don’t know how to add the Map along with the rest of the sections like Venue, Organizer etc

simply create a new page with nothing on it called ‘events’ so it has the URL yourhomepage.com/events.
