I use Amember… I have 2 “blogs.” One I didn’t want protected and one I did. What I did was I just installed WordPress twice. Two folders and two databases. Then I used Amember to protect just the folder I wanted protection on!

Going to close this… Figured out a way around it.

After reading more, I understand that it doesn’t use pages. I’m still confused though.

I have that 2nd category and I have a plugin so it does not show on the main page. Works great. But where is it shown??

I don’t have a sidebar, so can I just somehow link people to that 2nd category on my own?

Actually I found it in the admin area under “reading”

I see it for blog pages and syndication feeds. I guess I just put how many pages I want shown in the blogs pages field and that will be the limit…

So you would suggest putting the side panel back up somewhere? Would older posts really get looked at much anyway?

By the way, do I tell wordpress how many posts I want per page? Or is that something that has a default setting?
