Wow. Really? Sorry, had to chime in on this post.

First, for GoDaddy’s part – they’re not slamming the plugin – they just say it’s duplicative functionality. WP Engine also bans this for the same reason. Your client overreacted on this point.

Second, you shouldn’t be hosting at GoDaddy AT ALL. IMHO, they’re a good domain registrar – and that’s it. Your client may have been spot on here.

Find a reliable host with a reseller account who knows how to manage WordPress and move on.
