In reply to: [AMP] Error "script" with Google search consoleneotrope –
yep, that’s likely it. I just spent a half hour searching through the source view on one of our sites that’s getting script errors and the ONLY thing I could find was the GA scripting that wasn’t formatted properly when I matched up each of the items with the AMP requirements.

In reply to: [AMP] Does anyone got amp pages in Google search results already?Yes, we are seeing them in our landing pages already.
I have the same sort of issue. We have separate GA accounts for business entities and I accidentally authorized with the incorrect one. Now I can’t get the Profile drop down to clear and give me the correct accounts, even though I have reauthorized at least a half dozen times.
The account I’m looking for does not appear, and the one that shouldn’t be there is filling the Profile selections.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP] Error in schema.org NewsArticleI see the other thread has been mark Resolved but there’s no resolution in the posts. I’m still getting new errors from Google about the same thing on our other sites, so this is not fixed.
It’s white screened my entire multisite… (we aren’t using the free version but repo is always the first place I look when there’s a problem) —
vespino’s change to the xi.php file above got me back into the admin but did not fix the white screen on the display output.

In reply to: [Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP] Error in schema.org NewsArticleDid you use the analytics link provided by Google to see what they are telling you is not correct? If you are missing elements, such as Image, then it throws an error at you. It’s my understanding that only the error pages will not be shown, the ones that are correct will be used.
Has anyone else heard differently?

In reply to: [Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP] Image not added to SchemaWe are getting error emails from Google about AMP pages not meeting the requirements, and it’s due to missing image in every case so far.
I thought we had a default image specified in Yoast but I can’t seem to figure out where this was admin’d…
While it is 3 plugins for seemingly one thing, really it’s three plugins for three different things – and I’m optimistic that each of them does nothing more than the purpose, and does it with the least amount of code possible.
I’d be fine with three lightweight plugins that work properly than one big bloated one that isn’t so great. It doesn’t appear that Glue is causing any issues with anything else, turning it off or on did not affect the situation we had.I’m out of town until the end of the week, but am hopeful that the PF plugin will be working properly by then!
Totally agree, but I know how many SEO folks haven’t done their AMP yet and that means none of the regular people have either, so it’s still free traffic right now ??
Not to worry, if you do some Fetch and re-submits through Webmaster Tools, the big G will be happy to send you error notices on your AMP pages, since it will start crawling them.
I got an error – missing image – on a page that Google found on its own, it’s definitely not something I requested a crawl for… and it’s only been 4 days since we installed the AMP plugin.“We wanted to include an enable/disable setting so that you could have the flexibility to test a subset of pages with AMP without being forced to dive head-first into it. “
Super smart idea, and now that we know, that helps ??
I’ll make time later in the week to start tinkering with the PF plugin again, it looks really promising for a number of reasons —
Let me ask my question differently –
If I use your plugin and do not have EACH post checked to use with the AMP HTML, does this prevent the AMP plugin from rendering the post as AMP?
So ONLY the posts that I go and check off will render, and the rest will default to the non-AMP page instead?
It works just fine as /amp and no trailing slash without the PageFrog. I’ll try it and report back.
