In the chrome extension, we use our own affiliate link. The API will return a new aff url when the old one is expired. As stated, we do not collect any data.

The sort feature in our plugin is only used when your import products. If you need to reimport products with a different sort value, you have to delete imported products because our plugin will skip importing if a product exists.

If you use premium version, you can sync date for imported products https://docs.villatheme.com/import-shopify-to-woocommerce/#set_up_child_menu_3487

The issue is caused by the incorrect conditional tag that you use: is_product_category
To fix it, you only need to change it to is_product_category().
