Yoastsupport was very helpful in identifying what went wrong with our site. I have deactivated the plugin that was causing the errors & it was not Yoast. Thanks for your help.

This is the response we got from the theme developer:

The theme already supports
add_theme_support( ‘title-tag’ );
– you will see it in the file admin/theme_support.php so the 1st thing id suggest is to enable Force Rewrite Titles in the Yoast Title settings

We have been using our theme for 11 months & had no problems with the previous versions of Yoast at all. Only this latest version. We are using a VC (visual composer) theme btw..

then delete the word “protected” on

hey buddy..yup. I’m using WordPress 3.8.2 ..activated. Clicked the ‘visit plugin’ link..showed me this page- https://codetemp.com/ –not sure where the instructions is. I also clicked “Please read the Guide”..link doesn’t work.. Also was expecting to find a widget or something.. would try it again & rate higher..just got confused with where the menu widget is, if there is one..
